Tudor Black Bay 54 Ref. 79000N
Tudor Black Bay 54 Ref. 79000N
History of the Tudor Black Bay 54 (79000N)
The Tudor Black Bay 54, released in 2023, is Tudor’s most faithful recreation of the brand’s original 1950s dive watch—the Tudor Oyster Prince Submariner 7922, launched in 1954. The “54” in its name directly references that founding year.
Where earlier Black Bay models took broad inspiration from decades of Tudor dive design, the BB54 is the first to intentionally and precisely echo the proportions, scale, and purity of Tudor’s earliest Submariner.
