The AB0127 was launched in the early 2010s as part of the Navitimer 01 lineup. It represents a modern interpretation of the classic Navitimer, combining traditional design elements with Breitling's technological advancements.

Key Features of the Breitling AB0127

Case and Material:

  • Diameter: 46mm, maintaining a bold presence on the wrist, suitable for modern tastes.

  • Material: Polished stainless steel, which adds durability and a luxurious finish.

  • Crystal: Features a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides for optimal visibility.

Dial:

  • Available in various color options, but the most popular versions feature a black dial with contrasting silver subdials, or a blue dial for a striking look.

  • Retains the signature Navitimer design, with a slide rule bezel surrounding the dial, allowing for on-the-fly calculations.

  • The layout includes a chronograph with three subdials at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, maintaining the aesthetic symmetry of the classic Navitimer.

Movement:

  • Powered by the in-house Breitling Caliber 01, introduced in 2009 as Breitling’s first fully in-house chronograph movement.

  • Key features of the Caliber 01:

    • Column-wheel chronograph mechanism for smoother operation.

    • 70-hour power reserve, ensuring reliability over several days.

  • Water-resistant to 30 meters (3 ATM), emphasizing its focus on aviation rather than diving.
