Available only in a controlled-production run of 1,500, with the serial number engraved on each caseback, this dynamic timepiece evokes a swirling galaxy in the vast darkness of space. Framed by a strong and distinctive octagonal titanium bezel, the dark turquoise patterned dial has a subtle sparkle expressing new stars being born to the spiral galaxy and their unknown trajectories. Combining solid tailoring with the highest degree of accuracy possible in a wristwatch, it is powered by Seiko’s GPS solar caliber 3X62, GPS controlled for high-speed time and time zone adjustment to 39 time zones with an in-flight mode and perpetual date calendar correct to the year 2100. To ensure smooth operation, the watch is equipped with a signal reception result indicator, a power save function, and a highly efficient solar cell powered by light energy, with no battery change required. The unique dark turquoise dial offers a multi-function indicator subdial for easy mode reference, as well as sharp, highly visible three-dimensional applied indices and LumiBrite hands and markers.
