The 116610LN Model

1. Release Date: The Rolex Submariner 116610LN was introduced in 2010 at Baselworld, replacing the 16610 model. It brought several modern enhancements while maintaining the classic Submariner design.

2. Ceramic Bezel: One of the most notable upgrades in the 116610LN is the Cerachrom bezel insert. This ceramic bezel is highly resistant to scratches and fading, ensuring the watch retains its pristine look over time.

3. Case and Bracelet: The 116610LN features a 40mm Oyster case, crafted from 904L stainless steel, known for its exceptional corrosion resistance. The bracelet also received an upgrade with the addition of the Glidelock clasp, allowing for easy adjustment of the bracelet length without tools.

4. Movement: This model is powered by the Rolex Caliber 3135, a self-winding mechanical movement renowned for its accuracy and reliability. It offers a power reserve of approximately 48 hours.

5. Dial and Hands: The black dial of the 116610LN is complemented by luminescent hour markers and hands, providing excellent readability in low-light conditions. The watch also features a date window at the 3 o’clock position, magnified by the Cyclops lens for easy viewing.

6. Discontinuation: In September of 2020, Rolex discontinued this model and unveiled the brand new reference 126610, featuring a 41mm case and Rolex Caliber 3235 movement, making the 116610 the last 40mm Submariner reference.
