The GMT-Master II was originally introduced in 1983 as an evolution of the GMT-Master, first launched in 1955. Designed for pilots and frequent travelers, the GMT-Master II allows tracking of two time zones simultaneously, thanks to its independent 24-hour hand and bidirectional bezel.
The 126710BLRO was introduced at Baselworld 2018 as the revival of the iconic "Pepsi" bezel (blue and red ceramic), which had been a hallmark of earlier GMT-Master models. The bezel color scheme mimics the original GMT-Master ref. 6542 from the 1950s, symbolizing day (blue) and night (red).

Case: 40mm stainless steel Oyster case with the signature Twinlock crown for water resistance up to 100 meters.
Bracelet: For the first time, the Pepsi bezel was paired with the stainless steel Jubilee bracelet. This was a departure from previous versions of the Pepsi bezel, which were commonly offered with the sportier Oyster bracelet.
Dial: Classic black lacquer dial with Chromalight hour markers for long-lasting luminescence in low-light conditions.

The 126710BLRO marked a significant moment in the GMT-Master II's history. Prior to its release, the Pepsi bezel was primarily available in precious metals (such as the white gold 116719BLRO). By reintroducing this iconic bezel in stainless steel, Rolex made the Pepsi design more accessible while pairing it with a refined and modern movement.
