SEIKO Rotocall SMGG21
SEIKO Rotocall SMGG21
A new creation pays homage to the fan-favorite 1980s watch once known as the Seiko Rotocall.
The new model is based on a classic digital watch design from 1982 known as the Rotocall. This iconic creation featured a distinctive octagonal rotary switch that revolutionized the way users changed modes by simply rotating the bezel. The unique design, along with its popularity among astronauts, contributed to this model’s strong international recognition.
The watch is powered by the A824 quartz movement, delivering reliable accuracy of ±20 seconds per month and an approximate battery life of three years, complete with a battery life warning function. It features a versatile set of functions, including a rotary switch, a chronograph capable of measuring up to 100 hours in 1/100-second increments, a single-time alarm, and dual-time capability. Built for durability, it offers 10 bar water resistance, a rotating bezel, and a secure screw case back, all within a stainless steel case. The case measures 37.0mm in diameter, 10.6mm thick, and 43.5mm lug-to-lug, paired with a Hardlex crystal for added resilience. Weighing 107 grams, it is fitted with a stainless steel bracelet featuring a three-fold clasp with push-button release, a 20mm lug width, and a total bracelet length of 195mm.
