This Shell Cameo Brooch/Pendant is set in a 10-Karat yellow gold frame with twisted edges-Designer Mara Hunick.

Cameos heighted in popularity after the death of Queen Victorias husband, Prince Albert. The Queen, attired with mourning garb, set off a wave of popularity with mourning jewelry such as cameos which were often worn to honor loved ones.
